I am slowly approaching to the end of writing as well as defending my BA dissertation. F i n a l l y, it results in more time to clear the backlog and clap eyes on the current repertoire. In chronological order (in refernce to the date of publication) here is a list of must-see titles.
1. The Crown (2016-2017): this drama follows the political rivalries and romance of Queen Elizabeth II's reign and the events that shaped the second half of the 20th century.
2. Call Me by Your Name (2017): in 1980s Italy, a romance blossoms between a seventeen year-old student and the older man hired as his father's research assistant.
3. What If (available on Netflix): desperate to secure funding for her med tech startup, an idealistic scientist and her husband strike an outrageous deal with a mysterious investor.
4. Aladdin (currently in cinemas): a kind-hearted street urchin and a power-hungry Grand Vizier vie for a magic lamp that has the power to make their deepest wishes come true.
5. Dark Phoenix (7th June): Jean Grey begins to develop incredible powers that corrupt and turn her into a Dark Phoenix. Now the X-Men will have to decide if the life of a team member is worth more than all the people living in the world.
6. Stranger Things S.3 (4th July): it will bring us back to the fictional Hawkins, Indiana for a new terrifying adventure against the otherworldly forces of the Upside Down.
7. Spider-Man: Far From Home (5th July): following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.
8. La Casa de Papel (19th July): a group of very peculiar robbers assault the Factory of Moneda and Timbre to carry out the most perfect robbery in the history of Spain and take home 2.4 billion euros.



I am waiting impatiently for Stranger Things and La Casa de Papel 😍😍
